Women's Business Enterprise Council (WBENC) National Business Fair - WRAP UP
Another year of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) National Conference & Business Fair has come and gone, and what can we say, but, wow! On its 15th anniversary, WBENC really shined.
We at Professional Woman’s Magazine, a publication of DiversityComm, were honored to not only be in attendance, but also to participate in the many exciting events that took place. From the business luncheons and instructive workshops to the amazing speakers and elegant evening receptions, this year’s events all displayed great class and style. In the Exhibit Hall, we saw business opportunities available for everyone, and we spoke with some amazing Women’s Business Enterprises (WBEs) as well as with many of the Fortune 500 companies looking to work with these impressive women-run companies.
As a media sponsor of WBENC, we were fortunate to interview, one-on-one, some incredible top executives, including:
Top Row left to right; Nicole Peterson of The Home Depot, Shelly Brown of Johnson Controls; Bottom Row left to right; Nancy Creuziger of ManpowerGroup, Benita Fortner of Raytheon and Shari Francis of Office Depot.
With 20 years of diversity experience, we at DiversityComm know that conferences such as WBENC’s are the key to promoting growth for women business owners, and we are proud to be a part of them. Congratulations, WBENC, on 15 years of Vision, Opportunities, and Success!
Keep an eye out for the next issue of Professional Woman's Magazine—featuring a full wrap-up of the WBENC conference and including our complete interviews with the top leaders in business—on newsstands September 15, 2012, and available at the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and other upcoming conferences.
Don’t miss next year’s 14th Annual WBENC National Conference and Business Fair June 25-27, 2013 at the Minneapolis Convention Center, Minneapolis, MN, hosted by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). For more information, visit www.wbenc.org.
